Raniero Tazzi
Raniero Tazzi, originally from Assisi, Italy, holds a DMA in Piano Performance from Perugia Conservatory. Between 1995 and 2010, he had the privilege of touring with renowned musicians and orchestras such as The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Robert Levin, Joshua Rifkin, Charles Dutoit, Jiří Bělohlávek, Mariss Jansons, Daniel Harding CBE, Sir Andrew Davis, Martha Argerich, Lang Lang, Chantal Juillet, Sarah Chang, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Sir Andras Schiff, Pinchas Zukerman, and the legendary pianist Friedrich Gulda. Additionally, Raniero has been actively pursuing professional photography since 1985.
Fun Fact:
Realizing early in life that piano is not the only thing he is passionate about, Raniero has for decades actively pursued photography, taking countless pictures of concert performances, landscapes, and architecture since 1981.
He was, at one point, aspiring to become an astronaut, alas he never went in space; however, he did retain his keen interest in astronomy. A life-long chef and a gourmand, Raniero is especially particular about not overcooking pasta: al dente is the way, and the only way.
