This is an easy process that costs nothing during your lifetime and makes all the difference to our future. You retain complete control of all assets during your lifetime and this can be changed at any time. At present, there are no limits on the amount of these gifts and they will reduce the amount of your estate potentially subject to estate taxes. Be sure to let us know if you decide to use this approach to allow us to express our gratitude and recognize your generosity now.
Gifts specified in your will or revocable living trust can be a specific amount (or asset), a residual amount after other distributions are completed, or contingent based on other priority recipients. Here are a few examples of possible text:
Specific Gift: I give to Grand Piano Series located in Bonita Springs, Florida the sum of $________ (or specific asset) to be used for its general support.
Residual Gift: I give to Grand Piano Series located in Bonita Springs, Florida all (or state a percentage) of the remainder of my estate, both real and personal, after all other specified bequests to be used for its general support.
Contingent Gift: If (insert name) is not living at the time of my demise, I give to Grand Piano Series located in Bonita Springs, Florida the sum of $__________ (or all or a percentage of the residue of my estate) to be used for its general support.
