DESCRIPTION:\n\nHighly regarded for the sincerity\, depth\, and virtuosity 
 of her interpretations\, German pianist Schaghajegh Nosrati´s internation
 al career is marked not only by several prizes at national and internation
 al piano competitions but also by highly praised performances at prestigio
 us venues in Europe\, North America\, and Asia. Recent and upcoming highli
 ghts as a recitalist and soloist with orchestras include her debuts at Car
 negie Hall\, The Kennedy Center\, the Gilmore Festival\, and her return to
  Vancouver Recital Society and the Palau de la Musica Barcelona. Recent pe
 rformances include appearances at the Lucerne Festival\, Vienna Musikverei
 n\, Berlin Philharmonie\, Gewandhaus Leipzig\, 92nd Street Y\, Elbphilharm
 onie Hamburg\, Palais des Beaux Arts (Brussel) and Philharmonie Luxembourg
 .\n\n\n\n\nSchaghajegh’s international breakthrough came in 2014 as an a
 ward winner at the International Bach Competition in Leipzig. Her critical
 ly acclaimed discography includes Bach’s Art of the Fugue and Bach’s P
 iano Concertos\, recordings of works by Charles Valentin Alkan\, and piano
  concertos by Anton Rubinstein with the Berlin Radio Symphony released in 
 2021. Among her upcoming recordings are Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier and t
 he complete Partitas.\n\nBorn in Bochum in 1989 as the child of Iranian im
 migrants\, Schaghajegh attended Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover
  and the Barenboim-Said-Academy in Berlin\, and has since joined both inst
 itutions as a faculty member. Her teachers include Ewa Kupiec and Sir Andr
 ás Schiff\, who have become mentors and frequent artistic partners.\n\n\n
