DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nPianist and composer Nicolas Namoradze came to internat
 ional attention in 2018 upon winning the triennial Honens International Pi
 ano Competition in Calgary\, Canada—among the largest prizes in classica
 l music. He was named Young Pianist of 2020 &amp\; 2021 by the UK Critics
 ’ Circle\, and recent album releases have received extraordinary accolad
 es\, including the Choc de Classica\, Record of the Month in Limelight\, I
 nstrumental Disc of the Month in BBC Music Magazine and Editor’s Choice 
 in Gramophone.\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nCurrent activities include recitals at 
 halls such as New York’s Carnegie Hall\, London’s Wigmore Hall and the
  Konzerthaus Berlin\; festival appearances at Tanglewood\, Banff\, Gstaad\
 , Santa Fe and more\; and performances with the London Philharmonic and Bu
 dapest Festival Orchestra\, among others\, with conductors such as Iván F
 ischer\, Karina Canellakis and Ken-David Masur.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nNamoradze co
 mpleted his master’s at Juilliard and his doctorate at the CUNY Graduate
  Center. His teachers have included Emanuel Ax\, Zoltán Kocsis and Andrá
 s Schiff in piano\, and John Corigliano in composition. He now pursues pos
 tgraduate studies in neuropsychology at King’s College London\, where hi
 s research interests include the effects of mental practice and mindfulnes
 s on musical performance. He is the author of the book “Ligeti’s Macro
 harmonies”\, published by Springer\, and his compositions are published
